Alamo - Mrs. Valentine Martin, formerly of Alamo, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Hood, in Indianapolis. Funeral services were Friday afternoon and burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Martin, the former Lena Ham, was 84 years old. She was born at Alamo and went to school there, later moving to Rosedale. She had lived with her daughter for the last four years, after leaving a home at Hollywood, Fla. Survivors, beside her daughter, are a son, Valentine Martin Jr., of Hollywood, Fla.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
